The leftover brisket chopped or shredded mixed with barbecue sauce on a warmed bun makes great sandwiches and the meat freezes well.

Ingredients of Bud's Brisket Recipe
10 pound Beef brisket
1/4 cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning

Preparation of Bud's Brisket Recipe
Rinse brisket with water and then rub all over with the brown sugar.

Sprinkle the steak seasoning over the brisket liberally. Smoke for 5 hours at 225-250 degrees. When it's almost time to take the brisket up, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Transfer the meat to a large foil pan and cover with heavy duty foil, folding over the edges to seal. Bake 4-6 hours and let it rest for about 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
